GT RESOURCE FAIR HIGHLIGHTS:
- LEARN ABOUT summer programs and camps, enrichment activities, fine arts & performing arts opportunities, science and outdoor programs, academic talent searches, foreign exchange programs, online learning, teacher information including gifted education courses and programs, WCSD GT Programs, Davidson Institute for Talent Development and the Davidson Academy, UNR programs, organizations for gifted and talented, non-district school options including charter, private and online schools, and a wide array of extra-curricular programs. Pick up brochures and speak with program representatives. Many new programs will be attending this year! Please see a list of attending programs at the end of this communication.
- DISTANCE PROGRAMS - visit our tables dedicated to brochures and information about programs of interest from around the country including academic programs, summer programs and camps, leadership, travel, science, archaeology, and much more!
- USEFUL INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS OF ALL AGES - elementary, middle school and high school.

- SEE WHAT'S NEW IN THE WCSD GATE PROGRAM! WCSD GATE administrator Lisa Riggs and GT staff will be on hand to talk about programs for gifted students.
- The GATE Elementary teachers will present the new units and themes for the 2009-2010 school year, and share classroom materials, curriculum and student projects. Parents can register for next year's GATE program!
- The GATE SWAS (School Within A School) Elementary teachers will share information and display classroom projects and materials, and be available to answer questions about the SWAS classes.
- The GATE Middle School Coordinator Melissa LiCon will share information and answer questions about the middle school ALM (Autonomous Learner Model) program for GT middle school students.
- The GATE High School Coordinators Madelyn Read and Lyndi Cooper-Schroeder will share information and answer questions about the high school internship program and other opportunities for GT high school students.
- PLEASE SUPPORT OUR FANTASTIC RAFFLE! Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Prizes are donated by our wonderful participating programs and include free summer camps, program discounts, classes, memberships, games, books, event tickets, gift cards, science birthday party, ropes challenge course, and more. Place your tickets in the drawing for the items of your choice! Need not be present to win. This is our only fundraiser of the year, so please have some fun and support a great cause!
- GT RESOURCE DIRECTORY Directories will be available at the GT Resource Fair with a donation to GT Parent Connection of $25.00 or more. This unique publication by GT Parent Connection includes information about local and national programs, organizations, websites, books, products, and resources for gifted and talented children, parents and teachers. Many of the programs listed in the directory will have representatives at the GT Resource Fair.

Monday, March 30th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at Wooster High School, 1331 East Plumb Lane, Reno, NV, 89502. Event will be in the Big Gym, which is located in the northeast corner of the school.
Directions: Wooster High School is located on Plumb Lane, across the street from the Costco Shopping Center, just west of Highway 395. From Plumb Lane, turn north onto Harvard, then take an immediate right turn into the school parking lot. Park in the first parking lot on your left, walk through the corridor to the north and across the courtyard to reach the entry of the Big Gym. We will have signs!!
