SWOPE MIDDLE SCHOOL Cafeteria

Executive Functioning is the ability to organize and plan behavior in pursuit of a goal - whether that goal is something as seemingly straight forward as turning in a homework assignment or as complicated as building a rocket ship to the moon.

Executive functioning deficits can lead to significant problems in everyday tasks such as knowing when and what homework is due, organizing materials and getting started on assignments.

The goal of this interactive workshop is to increase parent knowledge about executive functioning as well as introduce parents to strategies that can help support their child with executive functioning deficits.
